Our purpose at El Lucero is to offer a place where the English and Spanish
speaking community can
find resources to abundant living.
Why we started El Lucero -
To offer a safe place where people
can work on life skills without the stigma of having to go get therapy.
Here at El Lucero we offer a conducive, user-friendly, learning environment where you don't have to know it all to attend. If you do know it all - you can fine-tune it in areas where it may be needful and beneficial to you and those around you.
Our goal at El Lucero -
To "assist you in your time of need!" It is
through our interactive, tailored and personal services that we help you manage the challenges you face in your life.
We provide cutting edge training, education and research through one-on-one
sessions, and or group sessions, seminars, conferences and/or classroom presentations.
We promote acculturation by providing multi-cultural material, activities and events to further enhance learning in the Latino/Latina community through education and life coaching.
We equip attendees with life skills to exercise a positive, safe and active
role in their personal life, network of family, friends and in society.
We work cooperatively with other agencies to provide assistance, guidance,
and services via referrals as needed. Building a referral system of support and valuable resources.
We assist in reducing alcohol and drug driving incidents by instructing attendees on alcohol/drug disease concepts, information regarding Virginia driving laws by instructing attendees in defensive driving classes.

Certified by the National Safety Council Instructors (English & Spanish) for the DDC 8/6 Defense Driver Improvement Course
Virginia State Licensed/Certified Substance Abuse Counselors
Certified Skilled Christian Therapists
Experienced in Military Lifestyle (Retired-U. S. Marine)
Virginia Notary Public
Current & Active Special Background Investigative Clearance
